Begin your trip onboard the Abundance Dahabiya cruise at the High Dam, which is an amazing piece of modern bridge building. This impressive building serves Egypt’s needs and shows what the country has accomplished in recent years. Next, be amazed by the Philae Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built to honor the goddess Isis. With its beautiful designs and grand columns, this temple is a sight, especially against the dramatic Nile.
You’ll find peace on El Sheikh Fadl Island, a lesser-known gem where you can enjoy the untouched beauty of the Nile and its surroundings. As you sail onboard the Abundance Dahabiya Nile Cruise to Kom Ombo, prepare for an interesting trip to a temple where two gods, Sobek and Horus, serve as guardians. The art and symmetry here are truly amazing, giving us a great look into the religion and society of ancient Egypt.
Another place to visit is Gabal El Selsela, off the beaten road, with interesting rock-cut chapels and a quarry that provided stones for many ancient temples. The Edfu Temple is one of the best-preserved old temples in Egypt. It was built to honor Horus, the falcon god. Stories of gods and pharaohs are told on its tall walls and intricate reliefs.
The ruins at El Kab Temple date back to the Early Dynastic Period, making it one of the oldest settlement sites in Egypt. As you visit, learn about its past. Going from the east to the west of El Hex Island is a unique experience. You’ll see different scenery and a calmer side of Nile life. Another beautiful place to visit is El Hegz Island, a quiet place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Nile Valley.
As you get closer to Esna, you’ll enter a city known for its busy market and the beautiful Esna Temple dedicated to the god Khnum. When you get to the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs like Tutankhamun are buried, the trip reaches its peak. History comes to life here because each tomb tells a story about Egypt’s great past.
Its size and style make the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut stand out. It is a fitting tribute to one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs. Lastly, see the Colossi of Memnon, two huge stone figures of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that stand out against the Theban necropolis.
Overall, The Abundance Dahabiya Nile Cruise is more than just a trip; it is a journey through time that includes learning about history, relaxing in style, and taking in stunning views. You come away from the experience richer, smarter, and wanting more of the magic of the Nile.
